TOM收购《藏羚羊》

 

 


　　继两年前《藏羚羊》品牌被瑞士最大传媒公司“荣格”收购后，由于经营、运做问题，这个中国最早的自助旅游系列图书再次被转让。日前，《藏羚羊》团队员工收到如下邮件。

Subject:  Sale of Chiru Book Series to Cite Publishing Ltd.
关于：转让《藏羚羊》

 　　Today Ringier has sold the Chiru Book Series to Cite Publishing Ltd a Taiwanese company that is an associate of Tom Group.    The handover will take place over the next few weeks.
　　今天荣格公司正式转让《藏羚羊》系列图书给隶属于TOM集团的台湾城邦出版控股集团。交接工作将在以后的几星期内进行。

 　　Ringier made the decision to dispose of the Chiru Book Series very reluctantly for two reasons.  The first is that profits margins in the book business are very low and accounts receivable take more than a year.  The second is that we failed to meet our revenue targets by a large margin 3 years in a row. 
　　荣格公司基于两个原因不得不做出此决定：第一，图书经营利润偏薄，应收账款周期长达一年以上；第二，近三年以来，实际销售额远未达到公司经营目标。

 　　Our team working on the Chiru Book Series has managed to make this the number one independent travel guide series in China and Chiru one of the leading travel brands.   I am very proud of this achievement and personally very sad that we have sold the series. 
　　我们藏羚羊团队的努力和付出使《藏羚羊》成为中国最早的自助旅游系列图书和国内旅游图书的典范。为此我深感骄傲并对此次转让深表遗憾。

　　Cite is a large, experienced book publishing company with rapid expansion plans in China.  The Chiru brand should develop well with this company. 
　　城邦集团在图书出版业资历丰厚并致力于国内图书市场的快速拓展。相信《藏羚羊》会继续良好发展。

　　We are very fortunate that Cite did not wish to employ any of our staff working on the Chiru book series.  We highly value our professional and dedicated staff and will reassign them to other projects with the company. 
　　好消息是城邦集团不计划雇用我公司藏羚羊现有团队。我公司对藏羚羊团队的贡献和每位成员的专业和敬业精神给予高度评价，我们会尽力在公司内部为藏羚羊团队的每位同事安排适当的职位。

 　　I would like to thank the entire Chiru team for all their hard work and dedication to their work.
