Tenzing Norgay——丹增诺盖

1953年5月29日，他和Edmund Hillary首次登上珠峰。
实际上那是Tenzing第6次登珠峰，后来他成为了夏尔巴的Leader。之前一年，他和瑞士队的Raymond Lambert曾止步于8600米，这为53年他带着Hillary首登珠峰奠定了基础。
1985Tenzing死于酗酒，去世前最想见的人是Hillary，但他没有挨到Hillary的到来。
11年之后，他的儿子登上珠峰。丹增在世的时候曾禁止儿子登珠峰，因为“我已经给你登过了，你为什么还要登？”


The first to reach the summit of the world, together with Edmund Hillary,

 they reached the summit of Mount Everest on May 29, 1953.

Tenzing will always be remembered for this climb but it was by far his

 first expedition. In fact this was his sixth expedition on the mountai

n.was the Sherpa leader. He had been close to the summit before, 

just one year before Tenzing and the Swiss Raymond Lambert had turned 

around at approximately 8,600 metres.

In 1985, Tenzing is an alcoholic in poor health. From his bed at the 

Delhi Hospital, he calls Hillary, his only friend and regrets ever 

having climbed Everest. Tenzing dies before Hillary can see him again.

Eleven years later, Tenzings son, Jamling climbed Everest as a member 

of the IMAX team. His father had forbidden him to try Mount Everest as

 long as he was alive: -"Why should you climb Everest? I have already done it for you!".
