After Ten days Vipassana Meditation Course,
10天内观静修课程结束后
I am back to the center of Leh City.
我回到了列城市中心
Leh seems to be a big city to me,
其实并不大的列城中心,
突然在我眼里变成了大城市
I am still the same person,
我还是那个"我"
but something has changed.
但是, 内心其实有说不出的改变
We come back to hearth hostel,
我们回到了当初住下的青旅
and we feel so much connected with our vipassana mates.
内观所认识的一群志同道合的朋友们
部分还留在了列城,
So, we decide to meet all together in our hostel again.
于是我们决定相约在青旅
To celebrate that we made it through this course,
庆祝我们成功完成了这个10天的内观
and also to celebrate the birthday of Issac.
还有就是庆祝Issac的生日
And of course, drinks are necessary!
当然, 酒水自然少不了!
But, it's "dry" day, and the one and only wine store
in town is closed.
但是, 那天刚好是"斋日",
镇上唯一的酒水售卖商店也不允许营业
Well, I am definitely not that kind of person
who give up just like this.
当然, 你们觉得我会就这样放弃吗?
So, I ask Anish (from the hostel),
if by any chance I can get alcohol somewhere.
我回到青旅, 问Anish(青旅志愿者),
有没有可以从其他途径可以买到呢
In the end, he bring me to the
"underground black market"
最后, Anish带我去了“地下黑市”
I am not so scared, but in the same time,
it's really "underground" and dark.
我并不害怕, 但其实真的是漆黑一片
So Anish open the door from the middle of nowhere
and we arrive in the "black market"
Anish从漆黑中突然间不知道从哪里开了门
这就是"黑市"
The woman ask, "what do you want"
and then I answer "what do you have"
店主问我"你要什么"
我回问"你有什么"
Well, it's funny when I think of now.
现在回想起来, 其实挺有趣的
I am the only woman there except for the owner.
I have to say, it's very special experience for me
除了店主之外, 在黑市中
我是唯一的女性,
真的是一次很特别的经历
Walking in the main market, you always hear "Julley"
走在列城的主集市上, 你总是听到"Julley"
"Julley"means "Hello"
"Julley"的意思是问好
or it actullay means everything
而其实, 它可以代表所有的东西
One time I ask, how to say cheers in ladakhi
有一次我问一个当地人, 在拉达克语中怎么说"干杯"
and he thinks for while and say "Julley"
他想了一会, 面带笑容的说"Julley"
"O Julley" means "Thank you"
"O Julley"的意思是"谢谢"
"Ya Julley" means "Bye"
"Ya Julley"的意思是"再见"
You feel the positive vibes around you,
I am really grateful to see those happy faces!
大街小巷, 你感觉被满满的正能量所包围
真的十分庆幸看到身边面带微笑的民众
Of course, it happens something that chAllenge me 当然, 在列城也发生了许多很具挑战的事情 In ladakh area, the connection is not that good even sometimes when you connected with WIFI but anyway, not many places have it 在拉达克地区, 整体上来说, 信号并不是很好 就算是当你连接了WIFI 不过, 只有很少的地方有WIFI I need to contact my family that I will stay in India a bit longer 那天, 我需要联系我的家人 告诉他们我会在印度逗留久一些 Also, after 10 days, I need to contact my family 特别是10天内观静修后, 我需要与家人联系 My phone doesn't work, same with the internet It's 7pm at night, I go to a shop randomly just to ask if they know where I can recharge 这时, 我的网络根本用不了, 晚上的7点, 只有几间商铺开门 我随机走进一家商铺, 询问哪里可以充值 The owner say that he can help me After one hour of trying. finally my internet is working again 店主说可以帮我 经过1个小时的尝试, 终于成功 But then he refuse to take extra money but just the money he helps me to charge 店主只收取了充值的金额, 我真的十分感谢他 Then, he tells me that during the winter time It's very dangerous to walk alone without a stick Cold winter and not every shop it's open especially during the night, 他告诉我, 冬天的时候, 晚上独自在街上行走 若是没有一根木棒的话, 非常的危险 Street dogs are a big problem, and they do bite during the winter time, they don't have anything to eat 这里的流浪狗泛滥成灾, 而冬天的时候 由于严寒, 他们根本找不到任何食物 So then, the owner walks me back to my hostel with a stick Little things but it melts my heart. "O Julley" 店主拿着木棍, 送我回到了我住的青旅 这, 深深的感动了我 万语千言, 无从启齿 一句"O Julley"代表了一切
In my hostel, because of the cold winter
Same with meditation center,
all the water pipes are frozen
在我住的青旅, 由于寒冬,
同样和静修中心一样的问题
所有的水管都被冻住了
And the "ladakhi style toilet",
it gives me the motivation to walk 20 mins
to the main market every morning to do my "business"
而拉达克式厕所,
给了我一个充分的借口,
每天早上起床后, 走20分钟到主集市
其中一个地方可以让我处理每日早上的"事情"
Well, I won't post the ladakhi style toilet here,
but if you want to see, ask me in private
and I will send it to you.
我不会在这里把这个"厕所"的图片放出来

Please, not to mention about shower,
we don't actually shower
But actually I enjoy it very much,
it's totally a diffrent experience,
当然, 洗澡变成不可能完成的事情
但其实, 我十分享受这一过程
因为与众不同, 独一无二
所以珍贵
but it reminds me,
we don't need much to live.
而这, 提醒了我
生活根本不需要过多的东西
Ancient Palace Leh,
around 30 - 40 mins from main market
古老的列城宫殿
从主集市出发大概30 - 40分钟
All they way up to the Palace,
surrounded by breathtaking views
You can see all Leh city from here,
also all layers of mountains behind
前往宫殿的路途中
列城的景观尽收眼底
被连绵不尽的山脉所包围
Simple way of living, and the communities are happy
质朴生活, 而这是因为这样
社区、群众的幸福指数升高
We find a spot with lots of prayer flags,
and we walk up to the top
我们经过一处布满经幡的地方
于是我们爬到了顶峰
We meditate for few minutes under the strong wind
The moment we open our eyes,
that feeling is kind of strange but full of power
在顶峰我们静坐了几分钟
而正当我们重新睁开眼睛的时候
有种说不出口的感觉,
而这种感觉充满着满满的正能量

When I am at the top of this part, It reminds me the last day of vipassana 当我站在布满经幡的最高处时 这让我回想起了在内观最后一天所发生的一幕 We all want to climb up the mountain in the back of our center Just would like to see what's behind there 我们都想翻过静修中心后面的那座山 看看那座山的背后是什么 It's actually forbidden to cross the border (we can't cross the assigned border during the course) 其实我们不应该这样做 (在课程还未完全结束时, 我们不能超过指定的区域) But we all climb up and every one of us 但是, 我们每个人都往上爬 The last group sitting is calling, Assist teacher is ringing the bell 这时, 最后一次全体静坐的时间到了 助理老师响起了熟悉又曾经十分痛恨的铃铛 That time I am still up in the mountain I don't not reach the peak because we don't actually have enough time 这时, 我还在山上 但并没有到最高处, 因为时间原因 And the bell is ringing, I am nervous because of the bell 伴随着铃铛的声音 我开始紧张起来 But in the same time I am saying "Anicca Anicca Anicca" all the way down 就在这时候 我开始喊"Anicca Anicca Anicca" 意思是"暂时的" All our vipassana mates wait until all of us come down from the mountain No one leaves the team and go to the hall That's the power, we are in this together 所有静修的同伴都在山下等待 直到最后一个人下山 没有一个人离开队伍 没有一个人自行先去静修厅 这个, 就是力量, 我们一同在一起, 一起面对 What's behind the mountain? More mountains If you think you are at the top, it's never the top There's always a higher peak. 而至于, 山的后面是什么呢? 更多的山 如果你认为你已经在最高处 其实, 更高的山脉永远不是你所在的地方
