　　Cortez, Colo., April 15th, 2008 - Osprey Packs, Inc., an independent pack company loCATed in the high desert and mountains of Southwestern Colorado, was named as one of Outside Magazine's Best Places to Work 2008. The news follows another huge honor for the company, being named the REI Vendor Partner of the Year for 2007,

　　This survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best employers in the country that not only create a great work environment but also promote an environmentally friendly business process and create a work-outdoor life balance for employees.

　　Companies from across the nation entered the two-part process to determine Outside Magazine's Best Places to Work. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall process, from performing the analysis to finalizing the rankings.

　　The actual rankings will be published in the May 2008 issue of Outside magazine and a segment about the winners will run on Good Morning America on April 20, 2008.
