　　Stamford， Connecticut， June 29th， 2007 — Peter Sachs， general manager of LOWA Boots in the U.S.， has announced the appointment of Dave Seligman to the newly created position of Brand Manager for X-Socks . Earlier this past January， Sachs announced that LOWA had acquired distribution rights to X-Socks， designers and manufacturers of X-Socks and X-Bionic Underwear. Seligman will have overall responsibility for managing the brand and growing the division. He will oversee product， direct sales strategies and programs， manage the domestic sales force and develop creative and innovative dealer relations programs.

　　Dave has over ten years in the outdoor business that incorporates retail， agency and field experience. He was most recently with patagonia as East Coast Sales Representative for their Corporate Sales Division. Prior， he was Account Manager of Merchandising for Octagon， the second largest sports and entertainment marketing firm in the world. He also had stints with Atlas Snow Shoes and Patagonia’s retail division. “I very much look forward to overseeing X-Socks highly technical product lines and spearheading sales and creative marketing programs to help our retailers sell the product，” stated Seligman. “X-Socks has huge potential and I’m glad to be a part of it.”
